Some information you need to know about getting to us:

Our nearest Domestic and International airport is in Cairns QLD

(a 2.5hr flight from Brisbane).

​

To get to our Tablelands locations:

Travel 1.5hrs from Cairns up either the Kuranda or the Gillies

Ranges to the Atherton Tablelands.

 

Our farms are located 5-15mins drive from the Atherton township. Buses travel daily from Cairns to Atherton and surrounding areas.

 

Accommodation can be difficult to find so you must be

sure to have secured something before arriving.

 

Car hire is available in Cairns and some limited

places on the Tablelands.

Getting to Lakeland:

Once you've arrived in Cairns, travel 250km

north/west (this will take approximately 3hrs) either by bus or by

car to the small rural town of Lakeland.

 

There is a small coffee shop/convenience store, a roadhouse/convenience store/post office and a pub/hotel.

Accommodation is very limited and you must secure this before arriving.

 

The nearest town (with hospital/grocery store/hardware etc) is

Cooktown which is 80kms north/east of Lakeland

(this will take appoximately 50mins).

 

Having your own vehicle can be advantageous as buses to/from Lakeland or Cooktown don't run all the time.
